ICSK Amman Commemorates Republic Day of India

On the occasion of 70th Republic Day of India, ICSK Amman organised a commemorative assembly. The special assembly was conducted with much gusto and fanfare, as the students showcased an array of performances which thoroughly infused the feelings of joy and patriotism towards our Motherland India.

There were several spectacular performances by the tiny tots where the highlight was a skit based on “Unity in Diversity”. The children in their colourful traditional attires represented almost all the states of India by dancing to Mile Sur Mera Tumara. Whereas students of Class V expressed their pride and love for the mother land through a spectacular dance performance to the tunes of ‘Jai Ho’.

The star attraction of the day was a dance by the little ones, the future citizens of India, who were all dressed up in the national attire. To show their love to their Mother country, they danced to the beautiful song Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani which was thoroughly enjoyed by every student and teacher present. Their sparkling eyes, contagious innocent smiles and gleeful movements underscored the inherent feeling of happiness and pride that each of us need to retain in us.

This outstanding dance was followed by a march past to salute and escort our beloved Principal, Mr. Rajesh Nair .C to address the special assembly.

As the little ones journeyed us through India with their performances, the feeling of pride, respect and patriotism was instilled in every one present.
