Class XII students get a warm adieu at ICSK Senior- An Unforgettable farewell present from the Juniors

Good Byes are not forever, it simply says, miss you till we meet again.

The students of Class XI of the Indian Community School Kuwait (Senior) presented an exemplary expression of their gratitude as they conducted an impressive programme – Adios, to bid farewell to their seniors. The morning of 31st January 2019 was charged with exciting energy and anticipation as the outgoing students of Class XII eagerly looked forward to the event.

The party was a final get-together for the students to express their emotions and views with their classmates and the school. The programme started with an invocation, seeking the blessings of the Almighty by a prayer song presented by the School Choir, Swaranjali and the School Senate. Master Muqlis hosted the event with much fervour and zeal. Miss Mriga Arora, the Vice President of the School Senate, rendered the welcome speech and expressed feelings of friendship between the students of Class XI and Class XII.

The day was festooned with music and colours. A glitzy entertaining programme was staged by the students of Class XI. The stage was set afire by scintillating dance performances and the pulsating music rocked the ambience. The dance group, Scram Unit, presented an exhilarating dance performance setting the stage ablaze. An enchanting song by Master Deon Dsouza left the audience spellbound. Miss Mriga Arora recited a beautiful poem. The School Senate presented a nostalgic performance which depicted all the memorable parts of the school life.

In his message, Dr. Sam T. Kuruvilla, the Vice Principal of ICSK Senior wished the outgoing batch success for the future with open arms and congratulated the students for achieving an important milestone in their lives. He wished them with a bright future, and asked them to keep the spirit of ICSK evergreen.

Educators extended their blessings and talked about their experiences with the outgoing batch. Mrs. Mini Shaji, HOD-Physics Department, urged the students to keep striving for the best. Mrs. Musrat Parkar, HOD-Commerce Department wished the outgoing batch success for a brilliant future. Mr. George Swamy, HOD-Computer Science and Senate Advisor, blessed the students with words of encouragement and best wishes.

To make the day more enjoyable and fun filled, a gaming session added zest to the event. Miss Mriga and Miss Benita announced the winners of the awards presented based on voting by the students. Mr. George Swamy, HOD-Computer Science and Senate Advisor, gave away the prizes to the winners.

As the event neared its end, Miss Benita rendered the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging everyone for accepting their invitation. It was followed by delicious refreshments and gifts.
