BALAKALAMELA- 2019, Art & Cultural Competions which KALA Kuwait conducts every year for the Indian School Students will be held on Friday 12 April 2019 at United Indian School Hassawi. The completions will be held in 10 different stages for the items including Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Folk Dance, Group Dance, Fancy Dress, Light Music, Classical Music (Carnatic), Mappila Pattu, Recitation, Elocution etc including off stage competitions such as essay. In addition to these, for Kindergarten Category Storytelling and Fancy Dress competitions are scheduled.
The schools winning with the highest points shall be awarded with KALA-Ever rolling Trophy and for the highest individual scores Kalathilakam & Kalaprathibha Gold Medals. Winners of each item shall be awarded with Medals along with the certificates for 1st, 2nd & 3 Positions.
An organizing committee is formed with George Thymannil as the General Convener, for successfully conducting Balakalamela-2019 along with different subcommittees with specific responsibilities.
