KMRM Conducted Rajathotsav 2019 - Harvest Festival & Mega Carnival

As part of its Silver Jubilee Celebrations, KMRM- Malankara Catholic faithful in Kuwait hosted a Mega Socio Cultural Event – RAJATHOLSAV ( Harvest Festival & Mega Carnival) ,on Friday 26thApril 2019 at Al Jawahara Tent, Ardiya, Kuwait. The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Shamir Ally, Ambassador of the Republic of Guyana, South America to Kuwait. Rev. Fr Binoy Kochukarikkathil, the Spiritual Director of KMRM delivered the Keynote address. KMRM President Mr. Jacob Thomas presided over the meeting. Mr. Babuji Bathery, Silver Jubilee General Convener briefed on the Jubilee celebrations of KMRM. Mr. Nitesh Dey, Operational Manager -ONCOST Hyper Market,was the guest of honor . Advisory Board Chairman gave the Jubilee message. Rajathotsav ConvenerMr. Shibu. P. Cherian, Mr. Binu. K. John, Jubilee Cultural Convener, Mr. Alex Varghese-Jubilee Social & Educational Convener, Mr. Joseph .K Daniel- Jubilee Ecumenical Convener were present.Mr.Liju Parakkel, General Secretary welcomed the gathering and Treasurer Mr. Santhosh. P. Antony gave the vote of thanks.







A souvenir ,to commemorate the occasion, was released by Dr. Maryann Beebe-Ally, the First Lady of the Embassy of the Republic of Guyana.

The program began with the Adyaphala rally , a traditional showcase of the harvest festival where people walked in carrying the nature’s harvests.



The major attraction of the event was musical performance by Pooja Prem, (URF World Record & Limca Book of Record Holder) who has sang more than 800 songs in 63 different languages.









Also we had outdoor fun rides and games for children and elders. There will be lucky draws and competitions to win prizes. More of all there were variety food counters and outlets for shopping too.The day will be a reminiscence in the history of KMRM.
