embarrassed."

We are the teachers. You should tell us clearly..."
Though you are educated, have you heard any or all of the above statements at some point of time in your life? Have you felt inferior anytime because you could not give a reply or ask a question to someone in English? Have you felt confused about when to use 'will' and when to use 'shall'; about whether you should say: 'me and my kids' or my kids and I'?
If you are a fine and capable lady who is little or more educated, but feels inferior or not confident at times, because of not being able to speak in English at home or with friends or with neighbours and in restaurants, shops and your kids'school---then, you need to get up and do something about it. It is not difficult at all to polish your skills in basic conversation in English. With a little coaching by a teacher and a lot of practise by yourself--you can manage a fine interaction in English with family and the outer world.
The biggest advantage of speaking in English is that you can express yourself; your thoughts and your emotions, when you interact with your family members, guests, teachers in schools, doctors and so on. You will feel comfortable and confident. You will be free from hesitation and complexes. When you go on trips or vacations, you will find people speaking in English in most of the cities and countries and if you can't, you will feel left-out.
