World Quiz Championship 2019 on 1st June 2019

The country will host the World Quizzing Championship on 01 June 2019. This has been happening here for the second time.

United Indian School, Abbasiya will be the venue. Besides Kuwait there will be venues at Bahrain, Qatar, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The contest will be held at 1.30 PM.

WQC touted to be the World Cup in the game of Quizzing is organized in 6 cities in GCC by the International Quizzing Association and knowledge services firm Q Factory. The contest will be held in more than 150 cities across the world. There is no bar of age or educational qualification to participate in the contest.

The Three-hour contest is in the model of a written examination.

Questions will be from the topics Culture, Media, History, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Sports & Games, Science and World. There will be 30 questions from each set, hence making a total of 240. Mr. Sreenish Chembon has been appointed by IQA as the proctor for Kuwait.

An organizing committee has been formed with Mr. Shyjith K as the Chairperson and Mr. Vineesh P V as the member.
