This Summer can be FUN in Kuwait!! Find out How This Friday @ Gurukul

The queries in hushed tones, the murmurs and whispers about what is Gurukul; who runs it; whom is it for and what happens there have long since given way to a steady increase in the interest, participation and involvement of the Indian community in the multi-branched activities of GURUKUL---the one of its kind skill development centre in Kuwait. The Indian community in Kuwait now knows what is Gurukul and with what objective has it been founded. Those behind its conception envisioned a place; a one-stop for the family where every member could gain a bit in terms of living and developing better. We live in a world which constantly necessitates and reiterates an updating of our skills and abilities. We need to constantly learn and re-arm ourselves with newer ideas, information and knowledge. And that is what Gurukul recognises and that is how Gurukul works, since it has something to offer to everyone.

If you are still wondering about what happens at Gurukul and who does what and who teaches and guides which activity, then do mark this date---14th June and drop in at Gurukul for an Open Day, wherein you can get a glimpse into what this Centre offers to all of us. You can know about all the activities and courses and can meet all the trainers, experts, facilitators and counsellors. If you are a housewife or a working woman, you can polish your English speaking skills, while also attend seminars along with your spouse on handling the Pressures of Parenting, Managing Life, NLP, Mind Training and a whole range of other activities which also include Yoga, Zumba, Archery and Karate. Your kids can take courses in Dance, Art and Craft, Chess, Karate and Abacus. If your kid is aged 10 and above, let him or her become a proud member of the My Book Club (MBC), wherein he or she shall sit and read quietly for an hour or so, followed by an enriching activity of about 15 minutes. The details of all of these courses and of many more can be had at this Open Day and you get the wonderful opportunity to speak one-to-one with those who are guiding the different activities with their expertise and experience.

Gurukul also offers you wonderful opportunities to equip yourself with job-oriented qualifications. There are courses in Language (English and Arabic), Graphic Designing, Digital Marketing, Microsoft Office, Executive Secretarial Course, Logistics Management, IELTS and OET coaching.

And, an additional incentive to be in Gurukul on Friday, the 14th June is that if there are concerns and pressures you face being a parent, and if you need to speak out about the dilemmas you face day in and day out, you can open up and have some free time with Dr Navniit Gandhi, who is a counsellor/trainer and has recently authored a book for Parents. She will be addressing the parents in two separate sessions, namely, from 10.00-11.00 in the morning and then from 12.00-1.00 in the afternoon. She will speak on the pressures and the pleasures that parents must live with…

“Life is growth. If we stop growing, technically and spiritually, we are as good as dead,” said a wise soul.

Let us therefore keep growing and keep learning. See you then, on the 14th June from 9:30 am onwards @Gurukul, Salmiya.
