One hour Free Seminar on "Parenting - Pressures and Pleasures" will be held on Friday, 14th June 2019. First batch will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and second batch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. In the present times, which are replete with complex issues and challenges all along the way,Parenting brings in its wake a lot of Pleasures and also, Pressures. And, many of us commence this journey that Parenthood is, with an all-out effort to be the perfect parents. Such a resolve on our part, adds to the strain and stress that parents eventually experience. It is neither possible and nor of any consequence, to try and be a perfect parent. It is important rather and even sensible to try and be a mindful parent.

The proposed seminar is one such attempt at brainstorming on some issues so as to discover within ourselves, the ways and means to manage Parenting.
There are no training programs, or training manuals or designated experts on Parenting. However, together when we talk and share our experiences, fresh insights come to the fore. Dr Navniit Gandhi is an academic, author, and counsellor--who has written extensively on issues that affect children and parents. She has authored Work-Books on Personality Development for students of Classes IX and X (Mumbai Board). Her most recent publication( June 2018) is "Dear Parents" - a book published by BYB Publishers, Mumbai. "Dear Parents" Book won Darshana National Award for the Best Book in Parenting/ Family Category.
