IEI Kuwait Chapters celebrated Environmental Day - 2019

The Institution of Engineers (India)-IEI, Kuwait Chapter (KC) Commemorated UN Environment Day- 2019 on, 5th June 2019,at Andalous Park, Regaai ,Kuwait City.

Eng Joseph Panicker, IEI, previous Chairman and coordinator of the IEI’s World Environment Day program 2019 explained that activities of IEI Science Club, Environment Club and Ladies wing , Eng. Joseph thanked Eng. Emadayad ,PAAF, and stressed the importance of associating with authorities such as PAAF.

IEI General Secretary, Eng.Sudheer Sahoo gave a short message about the importance of observing such events and IEI, s committed to support such events. He also distributed certificates to the Participants who gave speeches and displayed posters.



Eng, Sivannarayana Edupuganti, FIE, speaking on the occasion, stressed on the objectives of the UN’ annual event and shared the message of Secretary-General, UN, António Guterres. He hoped that the theme of ‘Beat Air pollution’ will be dealt by all from all walks of life by all means for the welfare of future generations.



Dr Neelamni, KISR speaking on the occasion expressed concern on the threat of rising sea level due to climate change that and environment impact on the island nations and emphasized the protecting environment is everyone’s responsibility.

The event was concluded by vote of thanks by IEI General Secretary, Eng.Sudhir Sahoo to all particempatants, Chairman Eng. A K Sherma, Treasurer Eng. Sam and all EC members.
