Workers protest for delay in salary

Scores of workers working for an oil project in Al-Mutla'a area gathered near the work site to protest against the delay in getting their monthly salary. The majority of the workers are from India.

Kuwaiti security authorities managed to convince the laborers to follow the legal ways to obtain their rights, and the crowd was dissolved after discussion with the presence of a representative from labor disputes office.

A case was registered against the company.

sadly embassy of India is not strong enough to fight the legal system in Kuwait, in other words they do not care... unlike the Philippines embassy very strong and supportive of their citizens.
