India Govt issues notification scrapping Article 370 on Jammu & Kashmir

Monday, August 5, 2019

India Govt on Monday scrapped Article 370 of the Constitution that gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bars people from rest of India from buying land in the state.

Shortly after Home Minister Amit Shah tabled a resolution to this effect in Rajya Sabha, President Ram Nath Kovind came out with a notification -- The Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 2019 that will come into force immediately.

The order will supersede the Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 1954 as amended from time to time.

The notification also made clear that all the provisions of the Constitution as amended from time to time, shall apply in relation to the state of Jammu and Kashmir and the exceptions and modifications subject to which they shall so apply.

It also added a clause (4) to Article 367 which said,"(4) For the purposes of this Constitution as it applies in relation to the State of Jammu and Kashmir -
(a) references to this Constitution or to the provisions thereof shall be construed as references to the Constitution or the provisions thereof as applied in relation to the said State;
(b) references to the person for the time being recognized by the President on the recommendation of the Legislative Assembly of the State as the Sadar-i-Riyasat of Jammu and Kashmir, acting on the advice of the Council of Ministers of the State for the time being in office, shall be construed as references to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir;
(c) references to the Government of the said State shall be construed as including references to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir acting on the advice of his Council of Ministers; and
(d) in proviso to clause (3) of Article 370 of this Constitution, the expression "Constituent Assembly of the State referred to in clause (2)" shall read "Legislative Assembly of the State"."

Well done India. Let Kashmiris remain happy and peaceful. God bless them. Even though looting of politicians may continue, at least people can develop the standard of living and freedom of expression.

Kashmiris are struggling to get rid of Indian occupation since 1947 and will not bow towards indian aggression. Indian PM Nehru given written commitment to UN that India will give self-determination rights to Kashmiris. Indian presidential order has no value. Its against international law. Kashmir has its own flag and territory. Tomorrow Indian President will issue order to annex Sri Lanka and Maldev :). It''s not possible to occupy by force a territory where indiginece freedom movement is going on since 1947. Indian army are committing crimes in Indian Occupied Kashmir, blinding Kashmiri youth with pellet guns and raping Kashmiri women . Time will prove that the decision by RSS/BJP Modi govt. was wrong and all know RSS & VHP are terrorist organizations in India and BJP is branch of RSS. Minorities are suffering under Modi govt. Lynching are going on in India. Kashmiri will keep on fighting against Indian occupation.

No more bullshitting by Pakis. Enough of blackmailing tactics by the rouge state. Next will be POK and Aksai Chin, they are also part of India and have to be annexed.

Amit Shah will be remembered in the history as second Sardar Patel in uniting India. Hats off to Modi and Amit Shah for this master stroke, they are people of guts and not hypocrites like Congress leaders.

Greatest moment in Indian History. Long live India. Jai Hind.

Talaq Talaq Talaq for Article 370. Jai Hind

It is a welcome move by the Govt. of India. This will pave way for developmental activities in the valley. People can get more opportunities rather than sending their children to terror camps. Exposure to diverse environment will definitely boost local economy.
People in Kashmir are intelligent enough and they will understand the merit of removal of article 370. More investments will come and growth will happen in the entire state.
I need to ask those people who are religious fanatics, you people brainwashed the innocent civilians and looted the wealth of the state and did not give freedom to think and choose the good life. Now the time has come to stop your atrocities and give life to common man.
Do you know, the area of Kashmir occupied by Pakistan has no basic amenities and no growth. The people are forced to serve in terror linked activities and good education is not offered. Further Pakistan is full of religious fanatic leaders, who promote terrorism in India. In contrast, you will get good and respectful life in India.
Try to understand one-thing, who went on begging the wealthy countries for money, India or Pakistan? Though Pakistan has so much of wealth, that is with only one set of people and others are poor and brainwashed for doing terrorism. I also urge the pakistan people to think deeply and join with India, where you will be treated respectfully.
Disclaimer: I am not a religious fanatic person nor supporting any religion. People should act wisely, life is short and we need to live peacefully and productively.

Very Sad. Indian Muslims who could not decide their fate in 1947, proved themselves wrong today. Indeed a black day for minorities.
Those who did not stay with Jinnah will repent today.
