No Civil ID for bachelors staying in Residential Areas

The government has mandated the Public Authority for Civil Information not to issue civil IDs to ‘bachelors’ if the address falls within the areas of private and model housing.

Kuwait Municipality Director General Ahmad Al-Manfouhi explained the current procedures in cooperation with other government bodies to evict “bachelors” from private and model residence areas.

He said that the government asked the Public Authority for Civil Information to take necessary action to prevent issuance of civil IDs to single men for any address within private residence areas.

He also said that the Council of Ministers has tasked the Public Authority for Manpower in coordination with all government agencies to allowing contracting companies on government projects to provide suitable housing for workers, within the area allocated for the project, until the completion of labor cities.

My son who is a bachelor working in Kuwait is living with us in Salmiya. If Salmiya falls within "Family Residency", can he not stay with us or in other way are the authorities asking all the bachelors to get married : -). What about guys who are married and living single here in Kuwait.
This does not make sense at all. I really dont understand what the authorities are trying to control.

I feel authorities should clearly put a notification in the area or the block stating "Family Residency only" or "Not for bachelors" or something which clearly identifies these areas.
This should have been controlled centrally rather go through all this unsocial process.
