Goan Football League 7th round matches produced some exciting matches and a number of goals.
In one of the matches St. Christopher FC thrashed Dynamos FC 6-1 while Group A leaders Holy Spirit continued to be on top beating Navelim Stars 4-0
In Group A, Pasha Boys beat Miracles SC by 2-1.
Jose Soccoro – 1, Cristovan Colaco – 1 scored for Pasha Boys while star player Durvesh Naik scored the goal for Miracles.
Shawn Rodrigues of Pasha Boys was excellent. A player to be watched in this league, Shawn won yet another man of the match award for his amazing game, the third award that the youngster has won so far in the league.
Benjamin Pereira (Jimmy) presented the award.
CAPXEM BOYS BEAT ST. RITA MAINA 2-1
Melwin Fernandes -1, Joel Camara – 1 scored for Capxem Boys to clinch 3 points.
Roland Fernandes – 1 scored for St. Rita Maina.
Joel Camara of Capxem Boys won the man of the match presented by Nicholas Ramos.
HOLY SPIRIT MARGOA beat NAVELIM STARS 4-0
Godwin Fernandes was in great form for Holy Spirit playing like a professional footballer and a style of a European player - scoring 2 excellent goals with his powerful left foot – one from long range that beat Navelim goalkeeper Britto hands down.
James – 1, Richard – 1 were the other scorers for Holy Spirit.
Godwin was deservingly judged man of the match and awarded at the hands of Jerry Mello.
Holy Spirit remain unbeaten in the league with maximum 21 points from their 7 outings.
ST. CHRISTOPHER beat DYNAMOS 6- 1
In Group B, St. Christopher trounced Dynamos 6-1.
Star striker Mairon Fernandes scored 4 goals while Prajot Naik scored the other 2.
Darwin D’Cruz pulled one back for Dynamos FC.
Mairon Fernandes won the man of the match presented by Damien.
AMIGOS DE JARDINE BEAT CRC CHINCHINIM 2-0
Roland Fernandes – 1 and youngster Jayden Luke -1 scored for Amigos for yet another victory.
Brandon Luther Fernandes of Amigos De Jardine won the award for man of the match handed over by Mr. Brigitte
GOA STRIKERS BEAT LE BLUES BY 2-0
Star studded Goa Strikers beat Le Blues 2-0 in an exciting match. Ronny Fernandes – 1 and Conrad Pinto scored for the winners.
Ronny Fernandes received the man of the match from Braulio Rodrigues.
