ASSP Kuwait Chapter conducted Training program  OHS Risk Analysis & Management

American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), Kuwait Chapter is a premier voluntary, non-profit making Health, Safety and Environmental organization, which strives to provide professional guidance, training, consultancy and resources to the industrial and social sectors in the region.

As part of society's continuous efforts to bring learning opportunities and latest developments for our members in the field of HSE, we have conducted the second training program of the term, " OHS Risk Analysis & Management ” on 23rd August 2019 at Best Western Hotel, Mahboula.

The Training proceedings started off with the opening address by Mr. Sunil Sadanad, President of ASSP Kuwait Chapter welcomed the participants and briefed about the importance of Training programs which helps individuals to stay updated in their professional careers. Mr. Mazharuddin Shaik, Secretary, welcomed the participants and congratulated for their participation. Mr. Ali Arshad, Head of Training Committee briefed about the recent & Upcoming trainings and introduced the trainer Mr. Santhosh Kumar Shenoy”

Mr. Shenoy is a highly qualified & accomplished QA/H&SE Professional of over 25 years’ of experience in a wide spectrum of industries. A person with meticulous assessment abilities, excellent communication & presentation and "people" skills. A motivating team leader who is very good at training, presentation, workshop facilitation and documentation. Result oriented with high energy and positive attitude with a personable nature. With a good knowledge of International Codes & Standards of QA/H&S, Shenoy has served in various capacities as Auditor, Consultant, Trainer & QA Manager and is well conversant with the Quality Management and Health & Safety culture of Middle East based clients & consultants.

He holds Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calicut (India) in 1992, Masters Degree in Health, Safety & Environment Engineering from Indian School of Petroleum & Energy; University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, India in 2016, Master's in business administration (Human Resources Management) in 2003, Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management in 1995, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management in 1996

His professional competencies are: Certified Competency Assessor accredited by City & Guilds, UK. Registered Lead Auditor for Quality Management System (ISO 9001). Registered Lead Auditor for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 18001). Registered Lead Auditor for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001). Registered Lead Auditor for Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001). NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health) General Certificate in 2007. Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from Motorola University. ASNT Level II Certificate in Non-Destructive Testing - Dye Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Radiographic Inspection.

There were 15 participants attended the training session and got benefited. The one day interactive training featured Group Exercises and Assessment. The successful participants awarded with the certificates from ASSP Kuwait chapter. For upcoming training programs please visit Kuwait.assp.org
