Severe winter awaits Kuwait; Temperature may drop up to 1 degree

A severe winter awaits Kuwaitis and residents, where the temperature is expected to drop to one degree Celsius, Al-Rai daily reported quoting Mohammad Karam, a former meteorologist and director of the Meteorological Department.

Karam pointed out that the recently published studies indicate a decline in solar activity that diminishes sunspots, which will cause a drop in temperatures for the next winter, and it is possible to say that the coming winter will be cold, and temperatures may reach a level of one or two degrees.

He also stressed on the need to form an emergency committee, such as the one that was set up last year to deal with any emergency in the event of bad weather.

In case of any serious severe viral disease especially due to extreme weather change the children and expatriates parents should be provided with best treatment free of charge as a humanitarian aid. As some medical treatments are far affordable by lower class expatriates.
this is suggestion only as a Human.

Hope it happens in Kuwait as was the norm till 2017. Winters used to be always cold and severe in Kuwait. May we get back to that once again as we have witnessed 50+ degrees this summer according to official Kuwait Met dept so winters too should see less than 5 degrees on equal number of days when it has crossed 50+ degrees this year.
