MP Safa Al-Hashem again demand deportation of expats

MP Safa Al-Hashem yesterday called to limit expats’ stay in the country to just five years that can be extended only once for a similar period. In a new set of proposals, Hashem provided a long list of cases where expatriates should be deported along with their families and prevented from returning to the country.

The proposals said expatriates should be deported if their residence permit expires or if their profession in the residence permit contradicts what they actually do, and those who work for employers other than their sponsors.

The proposal also calls for deporting foreigners who work in construction if their age is above 40 years and those who suffer from any disability or illness. It also requires contractors to ensure their workers leave the country after projects are completed.

The proposal requires the deportation of teachers and workers in private schools if their residencies are not with their employers, insisting their family members must also be deported and everyone must be prevented from coming back.

In her proposal, Hashem calls for deporting expatriates who have been convicted in court even if they have served any jail term or if their cases ended with a pardon. She also calls for deporting expats who commit three traffic offences, without describing the nature of the offences.

She also demand for deporting expats whose identification documents have expired without renewal. These people must also be fined KD 500, she added.

Last month, she again called for forcing expatriates to pay for the “air they breathe”, and later said she received death threats via email.

The wealth of Kuwait is Oil; without oil Kuwait is just an unpopulated desert. Time is coming where Oil will cost $ 20 a barrel. Kuwait''s production will not be enough to finance the state budget. No one will stay in Kuwait; Also, Oil is costly because smart people invented cars, planes, buses, factories using oil; oil is not a creation of Kuwaiti’s; it is a creation of God. So, they should thank God a keep quiet. Never say Never.

Respected Madam had no idea what expriates have done for this country. Madam they have build your country and that is why you are luxiourious life now. Give and take is called business and if you feel that your country has more manpower to run the country deport everybody i mean expriates and later on dont cry and ask them to come back . Finally expriates is the back bone of your country for e.g if your maid does not come one day you go mad and dont know what to do so live and let live should be policy.

It''s so simple why can''t they just stop issuing VISA for top expat nationals and start deporting till they reduce to required ratio so the demographic structure maintains and introduce the concept of ratio of expat nationals and penalize them if they exceed by 1%.

So..so simple

MP Safa Al- Hashem. No need of Deporting. Just de-value the Kuwaiti Dinar, all will be automatically deported. This is the greatest proposal.

She is right in what she is telling. Suppose at your home too many outsiders come and stay and then overpower you, you will feel the same way she is feeling. Its her country and she has rights to speak.

MP Safa Al-Hashem,
How many proposals you submit in Kuwait Parliament, but none of them materialize. Is it an indication that you are not fit to be in that post. Introspect yourselves.

Very good thoughts, pure nationalist.
Don''t sell oil to other countries... Sell only to Kuwaitis...
Don''t use Items manufactured in other countries... Clothes, cars, furniture, utensils used for cooking and even small needle.... Use only red think cloth weaved in Kuwait.
Don''t consume food products produced in other countries like rice, oil and even flour used for khuboos... eat only Kuwaiti tomatoes and green leaves...
