Family Fashion Show and Dandya Competition for public at IIK Diwali Mela

The much awaited mega community celebration IIK Diwali Mela will be held on Friday October 18th and the entry for the Regional Family Fashion Show and Dandya Competition are open to the public. Families and friends can participate in the competitions which are conducted by IWIK (Indian Women in Kuwait) at Al Zumerida Hall, on Gulf road, opposite to Salwa Area on Friday, 18th October 2019 as part of IIK Diwali Mela.

In the Regional Family Fashion Show is for the family of 4 members. Team may consist of 2-4 family members (Father, Mother and Kids). Costume should match with an Indian or Regional (Representing the State).

Team of 2 can participate in the Dandiya Dance Competition.

The number of entries for the competitions are limited to first few participants only due to space and time constraints. The entry to all these competitions are free, but prior registration and confirmation is required.

The full day Mega Community celebration, 'Diwali Mela 2019', features first of its kind Mela by bringing all Indian associations together in a common platform. Variety of stalls featuring regional items from different parts of India will be the attraction in this Mela. Various Indian associations will present cultural shows showcasing regional and national flavors of India. Number of Games stall, ethnic products, etc will be present at the Mela.

Games stalls, Special kids’ corner etc will guarantee a fun filled entertainment day for the whole family. Entry to the whole day Mela is restricted for families.
