The 20th Annual Get-together of NBTC Group, once again demonstrated the “One Team, One Family” concept with a magnificent show put together on Thursday 31st October, 2019.
The mega event turned out to be one of its kind in Kuwait with almost 18,000 people in attendance.
The event kick started with the national anthem of Kuwait followed by a silent prayer in remembrance of the departed family members of the Group.
His Excellency The Ambassador of India to Kuwait, K. Jeeva Sagar inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp in the august presence of dignitaries, Dr. V. P. Gangadharan, the renowned oncologist and the driving force behind Cochin Cancer Society, Mr. Gopinath Muthukad, Magician, Motivational Speaker and Celebrity UNICEF Supporter and Mr. Blessy Thomas, Indian Film Director.
Chairman Mohammed N. Al-Baddah was in all praise for the employees for their hard work that helped NBTC to reach to current stature. Managing Director K. G. Abraham handed over first installment to construct 25 houses during the program.
The show was a combination of celebration and recognition. Mr. Anil Kumar (Machinist) was selected as the Best Employee and presented him with a plaque and cash award. As a part of the Employee welfare scheme educational scholarships for professional courses, cash awards for class toppers for 10th and +2 were distributed. The Family Benefit Fund was distributed to the family of employees who passed away in 2019.
The key note address by renowned magician Gopinath Muthukad surprised the audience and conveyed the message with a magic performance. The highlight of the event was the Felicitation of Ms. Renu Mondal, the street singer turned Playback singer.
Padmasree Mattannur Sankarankutty has performed Fusion music along with his team. A bunch of leading singers of South Indian film fraternity namely Vijay Yesudas, Mridula Warrier, Sreya Jayadeep, Anwar Sadath and Kavya Ajith have entertained the audience with enchanting melody and fast numbers.
Shibey Abraham, Director (Finance) welcomed the gathering and K. S. Vijaychandran, Corporate Director extended vote of thanks. The program was hosted by famous malayalam television hosts Mithun Ramesh & Aswathy Sreekanth
The evening progressed with sizzling melodies, fast numbers and created ecstasy among the crowd. Delicious food was served for the entire crowd and the curtain was brought down by midnight for the biggest event of Kuwait.
