Kid's Name changing in Birth Certificate

Regarding my kid’s Birth Certificate (issued from Indian Embassy on 04-04-2014), Now my family not in Kuwait. Four years back their visa has been cancelled and settled in Kerala. I have to change the name in Birth Certificate.
Her name is showing in Birth Certificate and Passport as “NITHA RAJU”. I would like to change this “RAJU” to “KALYANI”. In the Birth Card showing only “NITHA”. Our wish was to make a single name for our kid. When I applied the new Passport for her in Kuwait Indian Embassy, they told me that it should be a second name. So they added my name as Second Name “RAJU”. Now my family not with me. Her Passport will be expire in this year. So I contact to Indian Embassy at Kerala to change this Birth Certificate. They told me that, this should change from Kuwait Indian Embassy only. Can I change this ?. Can do this with any agencies here ?.
Could you please advise me to changing procedure

Better to leave it, otherwise have to change it on all documents. If you really want to change, give KD 5 to Bangla in Registrar.

Make a new birth certificate on Rs. 20 stamp paper. Get it attested by local notary, then give it to urogulf for attestation.
Take new certificate and give to Indian embassy along with renewal application form and new name. The Rep will sign it with green pen, give it to behbehani building and take new ppt with new name.
