 Center for India Studies, Kuwait-Fahaheel Unit Organized a Public Event

The program held on 5th Dec 2019 at Mangaf, was presided by Mr. K. N. Subramaniam (Social worker and Manager-Almeer Technical Services Co.).

Dr. Susovana Sujit Nair (National Award winner and renowned Oncologist at KCCC) and Mrs. Nisha Dileep (Head Nurse & Internal Trainer at Dar Al Shifa hospital), presented the subjects to the audience.

Lifestyle diseases, possible causes for the increasing cases, and the ways for tackling it, were explained in detail by Mrs. Nisha Dileep.

Dr. Susovana explained how smoking, tobacco products, alcohol etc can ruin the health of self and family. She stressed on the need to reduce and stop completely all the above for the sake of self, family and society. Further, Dr. Susovana explained the ill effects of electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, bluetooth devices etc on the health of human and especially children.

The event was well received by the audience and all queries were clarified by Dr. Susovana and Mrs. Nisha Dileep.The program was anchored by Mr. Jagadeesh. Mrs. Bindu Sudhir welcomed the audience and Mr. Balamurugan proposed the Vote of Thanks.

Earlier, Mr.Sudhir V. Menon - President, CIS Fahaheel Area, explained the objectives of Center for India Studies and detailed about various programs organized till date. He invited all like minded people to join hands at any of the CIS units in Kuwait, viz. Salmiya, Farwaniya, Abbasiya or Fahaheel, for self-improvement and nation building.
