KKMA organized  condolence meeting  of late of Mr.Sageer  Thrikkarippur , who was a prominent Indian community leader in Kuwait.

He was a great philanthropist and reformer who saw every human beyond communal, political and linguistic considerations, and loved and constantly worked for the community” said by His Excellency Mr. CB George, Ambassador of India to the State of Kuwait. He was delivering the keynote address on occasion of condolence meeting organized by Indian community on the demise of late of Mr.Sageer Thrikkarippur , who was a prominent Indian community leader in Kuwait.

His excellency recalled that Mr. Sageer who lived in Indian community for the past 40 years and gave so much towards community service and was the embodiment of sincere intentions and hard work which resulted in outcomes beyond his or anyone’s expectations. Sageer Thrikkarippur witnessed great affection, respect and influence in Indian society. “ His sad demise is a big loss for the Indian community”. Tributes to the late community leader poured from various leaders and representatives of Kuwait, all over the GCC and India through social media. A meeting was held at the Indian embassy auditorium that attracted large number of audiences on Zoom and Facebook.

Mr.Sageer Thrikkarippur was affectionate and had a touch of love in every action so he lived in every person he met.” said Dr. Ameer Ahmed, General Convener of the Organizing Committee and President of the Indian Doctors Forum Kuwait who presided over the function.

During his forty years in exile Mr. Sageer sacrificed his entire being for the benefit of the weaker people in the community. Sageer always observed and invented means to improve the standard of life, improving medical aid, educating the uneducated of the most deserving and needy people in the community. He always touched the hearts of those who were suffering from hunger, disease and lack of education”. All participants in the memorial shared their experiences with Sakeerkka, who was fondly called.

General Secretary of KKMA Mr. Abdul Ghafoor, presented a resolution of condolence on the death of the deceased. His Excellency Ambassador of India to Kuwait CB George handed over the program supplement in memory of late Sageer Thrikkarippur to the The Convener of the Program Mr.Sathar Kunnil. His Excellencey also released “Snehapoorvam Sageerkak (with love to brother Sageer)” a video documentary demonstrating the footsteps of Mr. Sageers’s life. Dr. Ameer, PK Akbar Siddique, KP Suresh, AP Abdul Salam, BM Iqbal, Babuji Bathery, Sathar Kunnil, Habibullah Muttichur and KC Gafoor were present at the release function. Sathar Kunnil narrated the documentary and the documentary was screened by Abdul Fattah Thayil, Babuji Bathery, Habibullah Muttichur, Sathar Kunnil, KC Gafoor and Ratheesh CV Ammas.
