South Kuwait Toastmasters Club had celebrated its 350th milestone meeting on the auspicious evening of Saturday 13-March 2021 through online media Zoom. Us. There were around 30 Toastmasters and non-Toastmasters attended from Kuwait, UAE, and India.
Highlights of this event were thought provoking theme ‘’ WHAT IS YOUR IKIGAI? ‘’ by SKTM President TM Nilesh Attarde and sharing snippet of memories in the journey with South Kuwait Toast Master Club founder members and 11 past presidents.
The milestone meeting was graced in presence of District 20 Officials - District Club Growth Director DTM Khalid Abdulla, Area 25 Director TM Mrinmoy Roy, Area 28 Director TM Subrata Kumar Bhukta and Founder members /Ex-Presidents of the Club.
Ceremony was opened by the President of the Club Toastmasters TM Nilesh Attarde. Welcoming the dignitaries, presented a theme on ‘’What is your Ikigai?’’ and overall meeting was crafted with the interesting, prepared speech session, table topic session and celebrations.
14 years and 4 months since 11th September 2006 when South Kuwait toast master’s Club was first chartered by enthusiastic personalities who taken first step to enhance communication, leadership, and presentation skills of community. Founder members DTM Jeremiah Pradeep Vincent, DTM Bala Muthukumaran and TM Kannan Ravi shared their experiences in making the club. Ex-president’s TM Ganesan, DTM B.V Prabhakar TM Arumoy Das shared their experiences with SKTM Club.
South Kuwait Toastmasters Club with their tagline “Where We Learn Practice and Master….” is following the vision and mission of Toastmasters International; a non-profitable organization; established by Ralph C Smedley, to improve the communication and leadership skills. SKTM club is the 14th club of Kuwait, chartered on 11th September 2006. SKTM club is comprised of 25 members from Kuwait and India and conduct club meetings on every 2nd and 4th Saturday evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM in presence of clusters of motivated Toastmasters guided by striving mentors.
