NAFO Global Conducted Outgoing Students Farewell

NAFO Global Kuwait, on Saturday, 18th February conducted Outgoing Students Farewell at the Indian Public School, Salmiya from 04:30 pm onwards.

The Outgoing students farewell, Meritorious students and Young Achievers Award ceremony started with lighting of the lamp by Advisory Board Chief Vijayan Nair, Acting President Satheesh Pillai, General Committee Convener A R Subbaraman, Senior Lady Members Sreekumari V Nair, Shyama Nandakumar & Anjana Pradeep followed by prayer song chanted by NAFO children, Nila Ajay and Parvathy Jayaraj. NAFO General Secretary, Anish Nair, welcomed the gathering followed by Mr. Naveen C P (Vice-President) delivered the presidential address. Vice-President and General Secretary elaborated the gathering about the on-going activities of NAFO and a synopsis of up-coming events planned while requesting the support and co-operation of all member families.

NAFO outgoing 12th students’, Keerthana Girish, Gautam Krishna Ginu, Shreya Pillai, Pranav Ajay and other outgoing students Anagha Shaiju and Mythili Suresh Nair were honored with NAFO mementos/medals and appreciation certificates by the senior members of NAFO family. After receiving honors and appreciations, all students thanked NAFO for having provided them with a strong platform to improve their extracurricular skills and personal abilities.

NAFO officials expressed honest appreciation to well-wishers for the monetary support extended for awarding Precious Metal Medals, including Dr. T.A. Remesh in memory of his Late mother Smt. Leela Das Thadippuzha and Mr. Naveen C. P for his parents, Late Shri. V. C Kunjanandan Nair and mother Late Smt. C. P Padmavathi.

NAFO meritorious students of Class X of year 2021-22, Sree Navami Suresh, Madhumita Girish, Aryan Nair, Ananth Milan and Aishwarya Gopukumar were also honored with NAFO Awards and certificates.

Ananth Milan bagged the NAFO Young Achiever Award for the year 2023 for his exemplary achievement in the category of Sports and Games while Aishwarya Gopukumar was honored with the encouragement award for her achievement in Performing Arts category.

While felicitating the outgoing students, Dr. Prasad Nair (Ex-NAFO Advisory Board), KC Gopakumar (Advisory Board), Jayaraj Nair Edathil (Joint-Secretary) and Smrithi Madhavan (Vice Co-ordinator-Ladies’ Wing) reminded them about their future challenges, duties and responsibilities, and wished all of them a bright and prosperous future, which the students received with due regards. Special video message from NAFO Global India Treasurer Shri. P S Krishna Kumar was also played which encouraged the outgoing students to take new challenges and to stay focused.

Program committee convener, Unnikrishnan Kurup, congratulated the students and thanked the guests, Management of Indian Public School and NAFO family members for their support and esteemed presence. The Outgoing Students farewell function was anchored by Ankita Bipin, Vrischika Nair and Sruthi Menon and it concluded at 7:00PM, followed by Shivarathri Bhajan Sandhya in a Divine atmosphere. NAFO AB/OB, Ladies’ Wing co-ordinators and NAFO Executive Committee members played key roles for the professional planning and execution of NAFO Global Students Farewell-2023, a grand success and ever memorable.
