NAFO Global Kuwait celebrated its Muze’23, Festival of Music sponsored by BEC and Powered by Al-Rashed Shipping in a colorful and splendid manner on Saturday, April 22, at the American International School, Maidan Hawally.
Muze’23 started with the lighting the traditional lamp by NAFO President Shri. Rajiv Menon, Advisory Chief Shri. Vijayan Nair, Program Convener Shri. Jayaraj Nair Edathil, Vice- President Shri. Naveen CP and Vice-Co-coordinator NAFO Ladies wing Smt. Sajitha Menon followed by National Anthem of Kuwait and India.
NAFO officials then invited the main sponsors of Muze’23, CEO of Bahrain Exchange Company Mr. Mathews Varughese and CFO of Al-Rashed Shipping Mr. Pradeep Menon to the dais who formally inaugurated the first season of MUZE’23 followed by official release of MUZE Mag, a variety souvenir magazine of its kind that focused on Musical icons with many more reading articles. The magazine was unveiled by the main sponsors and was concluded by collecting a copy from Program Joint Convener Shri. Rakesh Unnithan. Mr. Mathews appreciated the efforts of NAFO in bringing new talents from the Indian Music Industry. Mr. Pradeep Menon appreciated NAFO family for its relentless services to the community. The event was also supported by Lulu Exchange, Favourite Homes, DMC, AMAZ, BASEM and the official carrier was Jazeera Airways.
NAFO also launched its MUZE theme music on which a dance performance was organized by Team Dillusions. Immediately after the official functions, the floor was left for the much-awaited Live-In Musical Concert.
‘BEC Muze’ 23 – a scintillating Live in Concert was performed by the leading playback singer, composer & song writer Ms. Sanah Moidutty with her band featuring Mr. Yadu Krishnan. The band consisted of 12 members. The band also featured Bollywood Dol King Mr.Iqbal Azad who has provided his musical contributions in many leading hindi songs. Ms.Sanah, a multi-talented artist sung in 4 languages including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu and kept the audience enthralled for over 3 hrs. Yadu Krishnan equally performed at his best with many songs in Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi. Both artists are hugely popular in the music arena as playback singers and has also given voice to some of the compositions of Maestro AR Rehman.
Overall, it was an evening of scintillating musical performances by the Indian talents, a rare experience to all who attended. At the end of the show, all artistes and crew were honored with mementos.
