The farewell ceremony for the graduating batch of 2023-24 at Integrated Indian School was a memorable event filled with a blend of tradition, blessings, and joyous celebrations. The morning marked the culmination of the seniors' academic journey, creating lasting memories for all in attendance. The ceremony began with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Manager Mr. Mohammad Ali, Principal Mrs. Ritu Mathur, Vice Principal Mrs. Husena Ali Asgar, Head Mistress Mrs. Jinshy Ajish and the respective class teachers. The event commenced with the symbolic "Lighting of the Lamp," a ritual signifying the pursuit of knowledge and the dispelling of darkness.

The warm glow illuminated the path of the graduating class as they prepared to embark on new adventures.To honor the diverse cultural and religious backgrounds of the students, representatives from various faiths offered blessings. The harmonious blend of prayers showcased the unity within diversity, fostering an inclusive and respectful atmosphere.

The handing over of the school flag marked a significant and symbolic transition of leadership within the student body. The Head Boy Abdullah Khan and Head Girl Akilah Akbar Ali handed over the flag to the Vice Head Boy Hasan Ali and Vice Head Girl Hasin Khawja Warsi. This was a poignant and meaningful event that celebrated the accomplishments of the outgoing leaders, welcomed the new leadership, and strengthened the sense of community within Integrated Indian School. Dressed in meticulously crafted ensembles, the young men and women confidently walked the ramp, each step resonating with a unique blend of individuality and collective elegance.

The contestants faced a series of thought-provoking questions that delved into their opinions, aspirations, and perspectives on various issues. In a dazzling culmination of talent, grace and charisma, Mohammed Saud and Reem were awarded the prestigious titles of Mr.IIS and Ms. IIS thus, captivating the audience with their undeniable charm and elegance. The ceremony also took on an extra layer of significance with the presentation of additional awards. The inclusion of games transformed the event into a joyous celebration. It not only provided entertainment but also reinforced the bonds of friendship, celebrated shared experiences, and added a touch of lightheartedness to the occasion. The distribution of mementos served as an opportunity for IIS to express gratitude to the graduating class.

The tangible tokens, adorned with the school’s emblem and the graduating year, will accompany the students as they embark on new adventures, providing a touchstone to their roots and the foundation laid at IIS. The head girl expressed gratitude on behalf of the graduating class, thanking the management teachersand stafffor their unwavering support. Teachers conveyed heartfelt messages through videos, expressing pride and admiration for the graduating class.
