75th Indian Rebublic Day Celebration in Little Castle International

At Little Castle International Mangaf and Abu Halifa the celebration of Republic day filled the air with excitement and joy. On this memorable day the children came dressed wearing tricolor outfits. The school was adorned with tricolour balloons and decorations showcasing the Indian flag’s hues of saffron, white and green.

The programme began with the unfurling of the Indian flag followed by the National Anthem, to pay tribute to our motherland. The Director, Mrs. Mumthaz Jamal extended a warm welcome to the assembled students, teachers and the non-teaching staff. A medley of patriotic songs filled the atmosphere with a sense of national pride and unity. The teachers organized interactive educational sessions through pictures, videos and activities to introduce the children to the significance of Republic day. A few children dressed up as freedom fighters like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, Lakshmi Bai, Mahatma Gandhi etc. and spoke a few sentences about our national heroes.

Through collaborative activities and interactions, the children not only learnt about the importance of unity and harmony in a multicultural world but also developed a sense of respect and appreciation for different cultures nurturing values of democracy, friendship and unity. Overall, it was a fun-filled learning and enjoyable day for all the children and those present. Jai Hind!!
