Kuwait Indian School Celebrates Kindergarten Graduation with Nature-Theme

Shine bright, little graduate. This is just your first step towards many amazing adventures!

The end of kindergarten marks a pivotal juncture in a child’s life. No longer are they the timid toddlers who hesitated at the classroom door, these young scholars are now brimming with newfound confidence and skills, ready to step into the expansive world of elementary school. Just as the little caterpillar metamorphoses into a vibrant butterfly, so too does our child bloom in this first academic endeavor.

On February 15, 2024, Kuwait Indian School (KIS) celebrated the graduation of its kindergarten students with a nature-themed ceremony. The event was attended by students, parents, teachers, and guests of honour, who congratulated the young graduates. The ceremony began with the Holy Quran and the Kuwait National Anthem.

The guests of honour were Mrs. Sabahat Khan, the Principal of KIS, Mrs. Sameena Sultana, the Vice Principal of the Primary Wing, and Mrs. Vincy Saji, the Vice Principal of the Senior Wing.

The Principal welcomed the audience and praised the graduates. She also thanked the parents and teachers for their support. The L.K.G students performed a Welcome Dance, followed by the Vice Principal’s speech. She applauded the graduates and advised them to keep learning and growing.

The U.K.G students performed a Drill Dance and a Thank You Dance, expressing their gratitude to their teachers, parents, and peers.

A slideshow of memorable moments captured the journey of the graduates from their first day at school to their graduation day was showcased. The highlight of the ceremony was the graduation of the U.K.G students. Each student received a certificate and memento from the guests of honour.

They also wore graduation caps and gowns. The parents, witnessed their child’s graduation with a mixed bag of emotions. They felt proud, happy, excited, and relieved, and also nostalgic, sentimental, and anxious. They reflected on how far their child has come, and how much they have grown and changed.

The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks and a group photo. The ceremony was a testament to the excellence and dedication of the Kuwait Indian School, which provides a holistic and quality education to its students.
