Young talents of ICSK bagged 160 trophies, 300 medals and 1300 certificates.

Echoing the sentiment ‘Talent when nurtured will flourish.’, The Indian Community School, Senior extended a warm embrace to the budding talents within its fold on the grand occasion of Paradigm 2024 - Arts Fest, held on the 3rd and 4th of June 2024. The inaugural ceremony, a vibrant tapestry of talents, pulsated with palpable excitement as the distinguished Chief Guest, H.E. Christian Dooms, Honorable Ambassador of Belgium to Kuwait, was greeted with fervor by the ICSK family.

The school auditorium dazzled with an aura of festivities. The ceremony commenced with verses from the Holy Quran followed by a prayer song that filled the atmosphere with a divine aura, invoking blessings from the Almighty. The gathering paid tribute to the nation Kuwait by honouring the national anthem. Dr. V. Binumon, the Principal and Senior Administrator of ICSK, extended a gracious welcome, articulating the underlying objective of the arts fest – to provide a platform for students to nurture and showcase their artistic flair. Emphasizing participation over mere victory, Dr. Binumon urged students to embrace opportunities with zest, unrestrained by the fear of success or failure.

The stage came alive with the enchanting grace of ICSK's budding dancers, who mesmerized the audience with a spellbinding classical performance, epitomizing India's cultural richness. The formal inauguration, marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the esteemed Chief Guest, H.E. Christian Dooms, underscored the shared cultural ethos between Belgium and India. Praising the transformative power of art, H.E. Dooms encouraged students to cherish and cultivate their talents. In recognition of his invaluable presence and inspiration, Dr. V. Binumon presented a token of gratitude to H.E. Christian Dooms.

The artistic tapestry unfolded further as Mst. Agnivesh and Mst. Rehan, budding singers of ICSK, captivated the audience with their energetic song. True to the fest's theme, the spirited performances of ICSK's dancers and musicians ignited the stage, a testament to their passion and dedication. Mrs. Susan Rajesh, Vice Principal of ICSK Senior, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, signaling the commencement of the eagerly awaited competitions. The gathering paid tribute to the national anthem of India.

The two- day arts festival blossomed into a kaleidoscope of captivating onstage and offstage performances, simultaneously unfolding on two different stages, with over 1200 students competing in 51 diverse events. The literary prowess of ICSK's students shone brightly in the Essay & Story Writing Competition, while the Extempore contest showcased their oratory finesse. The budding artists brought alive their creativity and talents in Pencil Drawing, Cartoon Figure Drawing, Fruit Vegetable Carving, Painting, Henna Art and Jewellery Making Competitions.

The closing day culminated in a crescendo of cultural extravagance, as participants dazzled the audience with folk, classical, and cinematic fusion dances, soulful solos, mesmerizing instrumentals, and captivating stand-up comedy acts. As the day waned, the institution opened its arms to dignitaries, parents, and the budding talents for the Valedictory Ceremony on the 4th of June 2024.

Dr. Nadeyah Alreiahi, Assistant Professor of Educational Technology at Kuwait University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Meshari Mubarak Al-Adwani, IT Service and Support Leader at Equate Petrochemical Company, adorned the event as the Special Guest. Among the dignitaries were Mr. Shaikh Abdul Rahiman, Hon. Chairman to the Board of Trustees, Mr. Amer Mohammed, Hon. Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Mr. Vinu Kumar Nair, Hon. Vice Chairman to the Board of Trustees, Mr. S.N. Raju, Hon. Treasurer to the Board of Trustees, Mr. Gangadhar Shirsath, Principal of ICSK Khaitan, Mr. Rajesh Nair, Principal of ICSK Amman, Mrs. Sherly Dennis, Director of Indian School of Excellence and Mrs. Sheeja C., Principal of ICSK Junior.

The ceremony commenced with the solemn recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by a soul-stirring prayer song. The lighting of the lamp by the revered Chief Guest and Special Guest marked the auspicious beginning of the ceremony.

Acknowledging the participants for their stellar performances, Dr. V. Binumon extended a warm welcome. A video presentation encapsulated the fervor and dedication of the students and staff for Paradigm 2024, eliciting cheers from the audience. Dr. Nadeyah Alreiahi in her address, lauded the school for its vibrant energy and unwavering commitment to nurturing talents, urging students to pursue their passions ardently. Mr. Meshari Mubarak Al-Adwani commended the institution for fostering future leaders through the celebration of young talents, urging students to seize every opportunity and pursue their dreams. In appreciation of their presence, Dr. Nadeyah Alreiahi and Mr. Meshari Mubarak Al-Adwani were honored with mementos.

The day unfolded in a kaleidoscope of cultural splendor, as participants enthralled the audience with energetic fusion dances, trendsetting fashion shows, and soul-stirring musical renditions.

The Indian Community School swelled with pride and jubilation on 13th May 2024, with the announcement of the CBSE Class X and XII Board Examination results. Each achievement added a unique sparkle to the collective brilliance of the institution, showcasing the dedication, talent, and hard work of its students, faculty and parents. Achievers of ICSK Senior were awarded with mementos for their academic brilliance. Toppers from The Indian Community School comprising 4 different branches under its umbrella were bestowed with special endowment for their meticulous performance in class 10 board examination. Class XII topper of Science, Commerce and Humanities stream were presented with a cash award of 250 KD and an appreciation letter by the school management.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony of Paradigm 2024 felicitated students for their tireless efforts, unwavering dedication, and indomitable spirit. Over 300 students were awarded medals and trophies for their outstanding performances, including Kalathilak and Kalaprathiba, recognizing the students who secured maximum points individually in each category. In Category 3, Logamithra Kumar of Class 8A was conferred the title Kalathilak and Daniel Sanju Paul of class 7E was awarded the title Kalaprathiba. In Category 4, Sribadra Umesh of class 9C secured the title Kalathilak and Hevan Sam Shine of class 10E, bagged the title Kalaprathia. In Category 5, Gloria Sabu of class 12A was awarded the title Kalathilak and Anubhav Ronnie Jacob of 12I was conferred the title Kalaprathiba. House points were awarded based on the overall score and the LEADERS house bagged the first position followed by the Victors house. The students and the house mentors were honoured with the House trophy. The enthusiastic children and their proud parents rejoiced in victory and success.

The two-day celebration of talent not only provided students with a platform to showcase their innate gifts but also instilled in them the courage and motivation to carve out their destinies. As the curtains drew on this exhilarating extravaganza, Mrs. Mini Shaji Joseph, Deputy Vice Principal of ICSK, extended a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the resounding success of Paradigm 2024.
