Astronomer and historian Adel Al-Saadoun said that the “40 days of summer” known as Al-Bawareh season, during which strong winds loaded by dust storms, starts on June 7 and ends July 17. He said the winds will be hot and dry and they come from northwest dry desert lands, adding that there may be days when southwesterly winds loaded with humidity because they pass over the Arabian Gulf.
