According to the labor market statistic issued by the Central Statistics Department, the average monthly wage for Kuwaitis in the labor market is 1,490 dinars per month, while that of non-Kuwaiti is amounted to 331 dinars.

The statistics shows that the average wage of Kuwaitis in the public sector is 1539 dinars, while that of non-Kuwaitis in the public sector is 732 dinars. In the private sector, the average monthly wage for Kuwaitis is 1252 dinars, and that of non-Kuwaitis 311 dinars.

The statistics also revealed that there is a gap in the average wages between Kuwaiti males and females. The average wage for Kuwaiti men is 1801 dinars, which is 540 dinar more than the average wage of Kuwaiti women, which is 1,261 dinars.
