Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) – Kuwait Chapter organized a blood donation camp, in association with the Central Blood Bank, on Friday, November 1 from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Central Blood Bank in Jabriya.

People from different areas of Kuwait and from all walks of life donated blood during the campaign, which was held on “Kerala Piravi” (Birthday of the state of Kerala).

Through this great act of donating blood on a special day every year, BDK intends to spread the message of sharing and camaraderie beyond all human boundaries.

Earlier this year, BDK-Kuwait has organized blood donation camps on the Republic Day of India, National Day of Kuwait, International Women’s Day, World Water Day, World Blood Donor Day, and Independence Day of India.

Keralites from all corners of the world have a strong attachment to their homeland and mother tongue like everyone else. This was why the Keralite community in Kuwait participated in the blood donation camp in Kuwait on the birthday of Kerala. Many expatriate friends from various countries also donated blood on this special occasion.

The blood donation camp was led by Jayakrishnan, Ramesan T. M, Jisha Anu, Yamuna Reghubal, Deepu Chandran, Muneer PC, Biji Murali and Sarath Kattoor. Appreciation certificates were presented to the participants in the camp.

BDK-Kuwait has been conducting such events with the support of Indian Doctors Forum, Darshan Photography, Music Beats, Yatra Kuwait, Jamanti Designs and DK Dance World.
