The Touristic Enterprises Company, on Sunday February 12, launched the new Green Island season, which includes carnival games, shopping and retail destinations, on the Arabian Gulf Street.

The activities at Green Island season for this year meets the tastes of all citizens and residents of all age groups looking to entertain and spend a good time. The Green Island season is scheduled to extend for a period of approximately three months.

The Green Island season opens during weekdays, from Sunday to Wednesday, from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and on weekends, from Thursday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm. All visitors must obtain a ticket to enter, through the website of the Green Island (greenisland.com.kw).

The entry for children under 4 years of age is free and from the age of 5 and above the price of the ticket is two and a half dinars, and this applies to female workers accompanying the families. The entry ticket will be valid for the day of use only, at any time. Participation in games is subject to separate payment of fees.

Green Island is the first fully artificial island in the country established in the Arabian Gulf region as part of the green waterfront project in Kuwait in early 1988.
