Kuwait Tamil Christian Congregation celebrates 50th anniversary
To promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide, Indian Education School, Kuwait, celebrated ‘Universal Children’s Day’ with all pomp and grandeur on November 20, 2019 in the assembly ground of the school. The celebration commenced with the special morning assembly conducted by the teachers. Inspired by the words of Nelson Mandela, “History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children”, the enthusiastic and multifaceted faculties of IES buckled up to entertain the students with various scintillating performances like group song, skit, fashion show, duet, group dance, painting beautiful art pieces etc. The students were entranced by the incredible show of talent by the versatile teachers and they applauded them enthusiastically. The teachers of the Music, Art and Dance Departments also manifested their skill through melodious and mind-blowing performances and the children enjoyed it with rapt attention. The students clad in colourful dresses appeared to be angels descended from the heaven and their innocent faces beamed with joy throughout the day. Cakes, munchkins and chocolates topped with love and care made their day sweeter and memorable. Knowing that children, being the world’s most valuable resources and its best hope for the future, each teacher ensured that every moment was joyful for the children. Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal, apprised the children of the relevance of virtues in life and enlightened them on the significance of Universal Children’s Day. It was indeed a spectacular and beautiful day which will be etched in the memory of each child at Bhavans.
