Kuwait opens family visa; Minimum salary 800 KD

Kuwait on Thursday announced reopening of family visas for expatriates starting from Sunday. The family visa will be issued under new conditions including minimum salary of 800 KD, university degree and a job matching their field of study.

The new decision comes as per directions of Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Acting Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousuf Al-Sabah, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Renewal Friday, January 26, 2024 For the existing family residence holder if the salary is less than KD800,... the difference is to be paid/year,.. at time of renewal. Otherwise they have to exit the country. This way they can increase the revenue. They will bring this rule also and it is not accepted for new comer even if they are ready to pay. This way they can reduce the expat nos.

Even if their salary is up to Rs 800, they still cannot call. it was good it was closed People who are already living in Kuwait and whose salary is Rs 250, they also have the support of their families.
