Every year on 15th august Indians celebrate Independence Day with pride and glory. Independence Day is a national holiday in India. We celebrate Independence Day because on this day, the India achieved independence after lots of struggle from British Empire. India is the seventh largest country and the second most populated in the world. Independence Day starts with the flag hoisting ceremony and parades. Many school children also perform on this day by singing patriotic songs and group dance. India is known for its rich cultures and heritages. India is also known for its tradition. Each state in India has different culture and tradition. India celebrates many festivals such as Diwali, Holi, Teej, Pongal, Christmas, Chhath Puja, Dusshera, Guru Purab, and many more. After Independence, India has made a fast development may it be in space, economy or technology. India’s education system is one of the top education systems in the world. India has made various apps like UNACADEMY, BYJUS, MERITNATION and many more which helps the kids to understand their concepts very well. India is leading in Medical institutes. Indian doctors and nurses are all over the world helping patients with their medical knowledge. In India, All India Medical Institute (AIIMS) is the leading Medical Institute. India also has one of the best IT graduates in the world. There are 22 IT institutes located in India. There are many Indians who are the heads of the global companies like:
