Online driving license renewal for expats from today

Sunday, November 17, 2019

The interior ministry’s interior and public relations department announced launching an online service for renewing driving licenses of expatriates from Nov 18, 2019.

Those seeking to renew their licenses can visit the website of Ministry of Interior where they have to carry out the necessary procedures. The online application on www.moi.gov.kw includes the option of changing the holder’s photo.

After they complete the procedures, they will be able to receive their licenses from the self-service machines which will be installed in various locations.

In the initial phase, the machines will be installed in the Avenues Mall in Shuwaikh area, Al-Kout Mall in Fahaheel area, service centers at Ministry of Interior, and General Department for Traffic Violations in Capital and Hawally areas.

I don''t know who is the visionary but hats off to him. The manual renewal process is embarrassing and humiliating. Kindly do the same for dependent iqama renewal and visit visas. Thanks.
