Prominent community member and businessman Sam Alphonso passed away in Kuwait

Prominent entrepreneur and social worker in Kuwait Sam Alphonso passed away in Kuwait on Sunday morning. He was the general manager of Thuwainy Trading Company.

Hailing from Karwar, in Karnataka, Sam Alphonso contributed a lot towards the education of the underprivileged back home in North Canara. He built many schools without mentioning his name on them and sponsored salaries of teachers to spread education.
