Kuwait is currently hit by thunder storms due to the season of the depression rapidly changing in the afternoon priod known as "sarrayat", Kuwaiti meteorologist Essa Ramadan said Monday.
Essa explained to news agency that Kuwait was, like all Middle East region, affected by thunderstorms trigged by a low ridge coming from Mediterranean Sea and the Arabian peninsula. He also noted that Kuwaiti northern cities were hit by rains and thunderstorms recently due to such atmosphere.
