Two and Half Hours of Pin Drop Silence with undefined sense of Music

January 20th 2012 an unforgettable day for me !

The Credit goes to NSS Kuwait, they celebrated 135th Birth day of their founder Bharata Kesari Padma Bhushan Sri Mannath Padmanabhan which held at Cambridge English School at Mangaf.

The programme was highlighted by the Musical Concert of Sri Kanhangad Ramachandran.

He is better known as one of the disciples of legendry singer, Padma Bhushan Dr. K.J. Yesudas.

Kanhangad Rqmachandran is a brilliant musician, composer, playback singer and moreover a Gunnius Record Holder (Singing non-stop for 25 hours). He has performed at the Thyagaraja Festival at Kalpathy and Kollur Mookambika Temple. He is working as a Music Teacher at Durga High School, Kanhangad.

He proved that he is a versatile Genius from his short speech during the inaugural function.

Satirically he criticized life style of modern youth (Adipoli style).

His concert was really amazing because before singing his popular songs he described about the “Raga” of the song and popular film songs in that raga. That is why the singer and the hearer traveled in same way.

He sang popular songs like ‘Kshera Sagara’ ‘Seeta Kalyana’ etc. As a teacher he taught with examples the relation ship between “Music – Science”, “Music – Maths”, “Music – Modern life” and Charismatic power of Music Therapy.

He took away the audience into another world with magical classical and semi-classical hits.

His concert was accompanied by feminine talents Sri Perunna Harikumar on Mridangam, Sri Balamurali on Violin and Sri Kottayam Unnikrishan on Ghadam.

The Concert came to and after he sang Harivarasanam.

It was a remarkable evening for everyone.

The function was very well organized by NSS Kuwait. div> iend cheated on me
