like the hue of my skies
like the shade of my skin
like the tint of my sun
Color me white
like the shrouds of my dead
like the oblivion that they fearlessly face
like the doves that fly above
like the freedom they sing songs about
Color me green
like the land to which I belong
like the soil that i hail from
like the buds that grow into shades for tomorrow
