Hala February Celebration at Indian Educational School, Kuwait

Hala February, the most popular and much awaited festival in Kuwait, was celebrated with great pomp and show by the students of IES. Students of Primary and Middle wing paid a befitting musical tribute to Kuwait by presenting a spectacular show. Students of Grade 3 put up a musical show and spoke about the unique features of Kuwait. Students clad in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag set the tune for festivity through their fantabulous performances.

Students of grade 4 presented a Musical Timeline on the topic. ‘Kuwait: The Eldorado State of the Gulf.’ The Timeline portrayed the history of Kuwait from the time of the Ottoman Empire to Modern Kuwait through dance, drama and music.

Under the guidance of the teachers of the Arabic Department, the students of the Middle Wing put up a fantabulous show on the occasion. The audience was enchanted as the students danced to the tune of foot tapping Kuwaiti songs. The Arabic fluency and diction of the anchors were highly appreciated.

The program ended with the pearls of wisdom from our Principal, Mr. T. Prem Kumar. He greeted everyone on the occasion of the National and Liberation Day of Kuwait. He spoke about the benevolence of the Amir of Kuwait, His highness Sheikh Al Sabah Al Jaber Al Sabah and advised the children to imbibe the values from his humanitarian leadership qualities. He also narrated a thought-provoking story on positive thinking. He ended his speech with prayerful wishes for His Highness the Amir of Kuwait and his people.
