High electricity consumption recorded as temperature rise

For the first time this year, the electricity load index recorded 12,300 megawatts on Sunday – 500 megawatts more than Friday’s index when it reached the yellow zone.

According to Al-Rai daily, sources from the Ministry of Electricity and Water said electricity consumption is expected to continue increasing this week, since temperatures have started rising and this will enormously affect power consumption rates.
