Kuwait Indian School- Iftar Box Distribution

Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, character improvement and fasting. In this holy month an “ Iftar Box” distribution was organized on 23rd May 2019 by the senior students of Kuwait Indian School, Jleeb Al Shuyokh with the support of the faculty. Our students worked very hard to make the programme a great success. They distributed 400 Iftar boxes among the public. It was a well planned programme. The funding was raised from the Food Fest organized in the school beforehand. Through this students learned the value of doing charity with pleasure.

This was conducted successfully with great support from our Chairperson Mrs. Hind Ibrahim Al-Qutaimi and the management. The inspiring force behind this idea was our Principal Mrs.Sabahat Khan, who sacrificed a lot of time and efforts for it. As we were hosting such an event for the first time, it was a great challenge and enriching experience for our children to conduct such a programme with enthusiasm. We also feel grateful to all our staff who participated directly or indirectly in this. The success of this event has given encouragement to our students and staff to continue with such ideas in the future too.
