‘Shubkamna’, Bhavans Felicitates The CBSE Toppers of Grade 10 and 12.

The success story of a school is always attributed to the accolades brought to the school by its promising students. Indian Educational School, (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan) Kuwait, honored the sterling performance of the CBSE toppers of grade 10 and 12 in the felicitation ceremony organized on June 13, 2019 in the school auditorium.

The galaxy of intellectuals, esteemed gathering of teachers, parents and well-wishers graced the occasion. The mementos stacked up in front of the stage showcased the beautiful and unforgettable tales of hard work, verve, passion, and drive. Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon, the Chairman of Bhavans Middle East and Mr. T. Premkumar, the Principal of Indian Educational School, bestowed the champions of the day, Sudarshan Sunderajan (Grade XII, Science Topper with 97%), Alana Ann Prakash (Grade XII Commerce Topper with 95%) and Malavika Krishna (Grade X,Topper with 97.2 %) with dazzling golden mementos, keepsakes of their triumph and glory in the CBSE examinations. Apart from the school toppers, the candidates who scored 95% and above in the board examinations were also awarded plaques proclaiming their astound success in the CBSE examinations held in March 2019.

The touching and sincere reflections of Sudarshan Sunderajan and Malavika Krishna acknowledged the unconditional love and support extended by the teachers and the parents. The parents Mr. George Mathew (parent of Rahul Mathew of grade 12) and Mrs. Sheeja Joesph (parent of Liana Maria Joesph of grade10) lauded the management and the teachers for molding and preparing their wards to navigate the challenges with determination and perseverance. Remembering the journey of the toppers in Bhavans, the class teachers of the toppersreflected on the eventful days with the students. The teachers wished them good luck in their future pursuit of career and urged them to soar to greater heights with values instilled at Bhavans. The day also celebrated the strong partnership among the students, the teachers, and the parents that led to the high attainment and progress of the learners.

Mrs. Anselma Tessy, the Senior Vice-Principal, welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Jaemi Byju, the Vice Principal Middle Wing, proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Pushpalatha and Mrs. Athira Pratap (Department of English) were the emcees for the day. The joyful and jubilant champions along with their proud parents and vibrant teachers relished their taste buds with the grand banquet arranged specially for them.
