Kasaragod Expatriates Association Kuwait (KEA) gracefully conducted 2nd KUWAIT FEST in Kasaragod.

A group of expatriates from Kasaragod district residing in Kuwait KEA conducted this KUWAIT FEST 2019 at Municipal Conference Hall, Kasaragod on Saturday the 15th June 2019 in association with Unity Hospital, Mangalore.

The function was inaugurated by the honorable Minister for revenue, State of Kerala and presided by the Kasaragod M.L.A. Mr. N.A. Nellikkunu. The Minister appreciated the association’s works and purpose for the welfare of its members and they cherished our charity works and other humanitarian projects conducted during the last fifteen years. The Minister also commented on our remarkable contributions and helping hands in various areas without considering cast, religion, politics and or any other boundaries.

Unity Hospital Managing Director Dr. Habeeb Rahman introduced the proposed Health Insurance Scheme for the members of the association with around 20 Lakhs of Insurance coverage and 4 Lakhs of Health coverage.

It was a whole day program with varieties of competitions among school children such as drawing competitions, coloring competitions, henna designing and cake competition by all age/gender categories. Cash prizes and Mementos’ were distributed to highest marks scorers for Secondary and Higher secondary students among KEA families.

Talents of children were appreciated; our young female writer Ms. Fathima Vaheeda from Kasaragod and our top scorer in NEET exam Ms. Hridayalakshmi were honored in the function.

The function was a real celebration for KEA families with a large crowd of people from Kasaragod district.

Renowned political leaders, media workers and local public illuminated the festival with their presence.

President Mr. Sathar Kunnil, Chairman Eng. Aboobakker and General Secretary Mr.Salam Kalanad addressed the meeting. Gen. Convener Mr. Hameed Madhoor welcomed the gathering and Advisory Board Member Mr. Anil Kallar delivered Vote of Thanks and function concluded at 6PM.
