Center for India Studies organized talk on ‘Expats and Financial Security’ Kuwait: Center for India Studies, Kuwait organized a talk on ‘Expats and Financial Security’. First of a series of talks on achieving Financial Security was held on Thursday, June 20th at Sopanam Auditorium, Mangaf. The session conducted by Mr. Sudhir V. Menon stressed the necessity of carrying out proper financial planning and execution of the same while working abroad to avoid distress situations in future. Mr. Sudhir presented various options of investments available for expatriates for achieving their financial goals. The pros on cons of investing in stocks, mutual funds, real estate, bonds, commodities such as gold etc were discussed in detail. Also the necessity of having an Emergency Fund was highlighted. With the active participation of the attendees, the session was lively and informative.

Mr. Dileep welcomed the attendees and Mr. Saravana Kumar proposed the Vote of Thanks.

Similar to this well received session, Center for India Studies, Kuwait is planning to conduct many more sessions on various subjects relating to Indian expatriates in the coming months.
