FIMA express concern over exorbitant price hikes in airfares

Federation of Indian Muslim Associations (FIMA), in a press release expressed concerns over exorbitant price hikes in airfares by airlines to Indian Sector. A strong majority of the airlines increased the airfares for the summer. With the shutting down of Jet Airways, there is only a quota of 400 seats per day in Indian Kuwait sector.

FIMA requests the Government of India, Civil Aviation Minister, Foreign Minister and Embassy of India to expedite the process of reviving the Jet Airways or allotting these routes to new economy airlines, so that the large Indian air passengers may get home to those waiting for them without selling an arm for it.
