Indian Embassy celebrated Independence Day

Indian Embassy in Kuwait celebrated 73rd Independence Day of India at Embassy premise. Large number of Indians from all walks of life attend the celebration.



73rd Independence Day was celebrated by unfurling of the tri-colour National Flag by Ambassador Mr. K. Jeeva Sagar, the singing of the National Anthem and the reading out of the Hon’ble President’s Address to the Nation.



The event started by garlanding the Mahatma Gandhi Statue by the Ambassador H E K Jeeva Sagar. Various Indian associations participated in the singing of Patriotic songs.

The Muhammadee Scout of Bohra Community band played a variety of marching tunes to the delight of the assembled gathering.



The Ambassador emphasized that India-Kuwait relations have been historically close, warm and friendly. He commended the contribution of the Indian community in Kuwait’s socio-economic development and in nurturing India-Kuwait ties. He extended his warmest greetings to all members of the Indian community in Kuwait.
