Bright Horizons Toastmasters Club celebrates its journey of 250 meetings with aplomb

A robust gathering, cheerful atmosphere and some smashing speeches marked the 250th meeting of Bright Horizons Toastmasters (BHTM) Club that was celebrated with much fanfare in the presence of nearly 40 members from the Toastmasters fraternity on Friday, 23rd August here in Kuwait.

The milestone meeting was efficiently helmed by one of the most prolific speakers of the club, Toastmaster (TM) Malin Williams who enthralled the audience with a theme explaining the significance of colors and their essence in our lives. A line-up of eloquent speakers TM Vincy Thomas and TM Elvis Noronha inspired the audience with their message on positivity and battling the hurdles of life, while champion evaluators TM Prince George and Distinguished Toastmaster Anil Lobo and provided them valuable feedback to improve their speaking skills.

The table-topics session where the members have to think on their feet and speak on a topic spontaneously, was led by TM Gopalakrishnan who put forth challenging yet entertaining topics, well delivered by audience members.

The Bright Horizons Toastmasters club falls under the aegis of world-renowned non-profit educational organization Toastmasters International that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. It supports members in achieving their ambitions as efficient communicators and dynamic leaders through a learn-by-practice program. There are 16,800 clubs across 143 countries with membership exceeding 35,800.

BHTM club is one of the most active English-speaking clubs in Kuwait that has helped build confidence of budding speakers and produced champions who have won public speaking contests in Kuwait and beyond.
