Health insurance online only from today

Ministry of Interior has cancelled paper transactions for health insurance, and instead, the payment of health insurance fee will be done only through online for everyone who have fulfilled the residency application conditions starting from today Oct 6, 2019.

In a statement issued through the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media, the ministry exempted the Citizen Service Centers from the online payment services until Oct 28.

Accordingly, effective today, Oct 6, 2019, all health insurance paperwork will be halted in favor of online payment at all residency affairs departments, it said, noting that paper slips will be accepted at various citizen service centers until Oct 28, when all health insurance transactions completely go online on the health ministry’s website www.moh.gov.kw.

The applicant should log in to complete the payment of health insurance before heading to the departments of residency affairs or the service center to complete the remaining procedures.
